Gerald Casimir is a managing director and Head of Global Real Estate Asset Management for the TIAA-CREF organization. Mr. Casimir is responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and day-to-day activities of the organization’s global real estate investments with the exception of Europe. Most recently, he was responsible for the overall execution of asset management business plans, leasing, day-to-day property operations and management of the north region team on a portfolio of approximately 39 million square feet of office and industrial assets. Previously, he was head of domestic acquisitions for the north region and value-add real estate acquisitions. He joined the TIAA-CREF organization in 2002.
Mr. Casimir has 27 years of real estate acquisitions, asset management and portfolio management/reporting experience including positions with EastdilRealty Advisors, and SchroderReal Estate Advisors.
Mr. Casimir holds a B.S. in Accounting from Hunter College.
