Sandy LaBaugh is a senior director and a member of the natural resources & infrastructure investments team for the TIAA-CREF organization. Ms. LaBaugh is a portfolio manager responsible for timberland investments. Previously, she was a member of the alternative investments team where in addition to timber investing, her responsibilities included mezzanine debt and private equity co-investment activity with sponsor private equity portfolios. Since joining the TIAA-CREF organization in 1998, Ms. LaBaugh has also worked on the direct private equity, private placements, lease finance and corporate public bond investment teams.
Ms. LaBaugh has 23 years of industry experience including working on a commercial lending program in Moscow at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and as a commercial banking officer at Old Kent Bank in Chicago.
She holds a B.A. in business from Hope College and an M.B.A. in finance, international business and economics from the University of Chicago.
