TIAA-CREF named to Working Mother’s 100 Best Companies List

Company recognized for policies and programs that attract, retain and support working moms

For the second year in a row, TIAA-CREF has earned a place on the Working Mother 100 Best Companies list.

TIAA-CREF, which this year was ranked 56 in the top 100 companies, has taken multiple steps over the past several years to ensure we are fostering a supportive workplace, including:

  • Implementing an Alternative Workplace Strategy program, providing greater flexibility to all employees;
  • Sponsoring and encouraging membership in Employee Resource Groups, including a women’s group; and
  • Focusing on employee health and wellness and having work/life coaches at our onsite health centers as well as other coaches available via phone.

Companies were evaluated based on benefits, women’s issues and advancement, childcare, workforce profile, flexible work, company culture and work life programs, paid time-off and leaves, both in terms of access and usage company-wide.
