HOWELL E. JACKSON, 60, has been James S. Reid, Jr. Professor of Law of Harvard Law School since 2004 and Senior Adviser to the President and Provost from 2010 to 2012, having served as Acting Dean in 2009, as Vice Dean for Budget from 2003 to 2006, and on the faculty since 1989. He is a Director of the D2D Fund. Professor Jackson has a B.A. degree from Brown University and a joint J.D./M.B.A. from Harvard University. Professor Jackson has served as a CREF Trustee since 2005 and as Chairman of the Board since 2013.
