In order to use secure access, your browser must support 128-bit encryption, JavaScript and cookies. Current releases of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Explorer are good choices. See our computer requirements for the latest supported user-agents such as browsers and operating systems.

Over direct Internet connections (fractional and full T-1 or T-3), secure access response times should be comparable to the TIAA-CREF Automated Telephone System.

In the event of service delays

We try to make secure features available at all times. However, we cannot be liable if you are unable to use the service for any reason. If you cannot use secure access, please use one of the following alternatives:

• Participants: call our Automated Telephone Service at 1 800 842-2252.
• Plan Administrators: call our Administrator Telephone Center at 1 888 842-7782.
• Financial Advisors: call our Advisor Services Team at 1 888 842-0318.
• Planned Giving & Endowment Clients: contact your TIAA-CREF Trust Administrator.

Please note: Traffic loads, weather and other factors can degrade or disrupt the performance of both local access providers and backbone nets. We will make every effort to complete transactions submitted over the Internet. However, we cannot guarantee their execution unless they are acknowledged on the screen and then confirmed in writing.
