Previously, he worked as an assistant administrator at Boatmen's Trust Company.

Bernard L. Bearman, Jr. (Buddy), has served as a senior institutional portfolio manager with the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB since 2000. He oversees the institutional portfolio process as well as the portfolio mangers. Additionally, Buddy assists clients in the development, implementation and administration of their investment programs, including investment policy design, asset allocation decision-making and investment selection. With more than 26 years of experience, Buddy has particular knowledge working with endowments, foundations and nonprofit institutions.
Prior to joining the Trust Company, Buddy was a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager at Banc of America Capital Management and Boatmen's Trust Company for 17 years. There, he provided investment research as well as equity and balanced portfolio management. He began his career as a trust administrator for Chase Manhattan Bank, NA.
Buddy earned his B.A. in both Economics and Political Science from Denison University. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of St. Louis.
Mary J. Bell is manager of Investment Support for the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB in St. Louis, MO. She is responsible for managing the group's portfolio assistants and ensuring the department operates in a smooth and efficient manner.

Barbara C. Friedman, CFA, is a senior portfolio manager and team leader with the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB in Boston, MA. She is responsible for helping high net worth clients and their families set investment objectives and create portfolio strategies based on an appropriate mix of equities and fixed-income securities. Barbara is also the team leader for the Northeast Region, supervising Trust Company portfolio managers in that region. In this capacity, she serves on several Trust Company management committees.

Richard M. Graziadei, CFA, is the Lead Equity Manager for the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB in Charlotte, NC. He oversees the Large-Cap Core Equity Model Portfolio and manages the Trust Company’s overall equity investment process. The Trust Company’s Equity Research team reports to Rich and he is a member of the Officer’s Investment Committee.
Before joining the Trust Company, Rich worked for Roxbury Capital Management in Santa Monica, California. There, he along with the firm’s Chief Investment Officer, developed a new Mid-Cap Value strategy which has delivered excellent returns over year-to-date, one, three, five, seven, and since inception time periods. He also served as the Financial Services analyst for Roxbury’s other portfolios, Large-Cap Growth and Mid-Cap Growth. Rich served as an Equity Analyst for the Financial Services and Consumer Discretionary sectors prior to assuming his portfolio management role.

Abigail M. Huffman, CFA, is director of research at the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB in New York City. She is responsible for analyzing the equity markets (with a major emphasis on the U.S. market) and recommending sector allocations and investment strategies to the Trust Company's portfolio managers. Abigail hosts weekly research telephone calls with the company's portfolio managers, focusing on major investment themes within key sectors and industries of the S&P 500. She also writes commentaries for the Trust Company's portfolio managers and clients and hosts research calls with external analysts and strategists.

Abigail has more than 15 years of experience in financial markets, including seven years at Schwab Soundview Capital Markets as senior research associate for the chief investment strategist and analyst with the firm's capital markets strategy group. Abigail also advised individual clients as a member of the firm's Retail group following previous experience at Prudential Securities as a stockbroker. Abigail has also worked as a financial analyst, creating hedging strategies to manage foreign currency exposures at firms such as Baring Securities Incorporated, Borden and Time Warner.
Abigail earned a B.A. in History from Yale University. She also has an M. Arch. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Design and an M.B.A. in Finance from Indiana University. Michael Kahn, is managing director of both Kaspick & Company and Institutional Trust for the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB. Drawing upon his 30 years of experience, he oversees all components of the Kaspick and Institutional Trust lines of business and is responsible for setting strategy and direction. Michael played a principal role in TIAA's acquisition of Kaspick & Company in 2006 and has primary responsibility for integrating Kaspick into the TIAA-CREF family of companies.
Michael previously served as chief operating officer for TIAA-CREF Asset Management, which provides asset management and related services primarily to institutional customers through separate accounts and commingled multi-investor funds. His responsibilities included implementing and overseeing all operational functions and financial management for this start-up business. Concurrently, he led the successful restructuring of TIAA-CREF's Institutional Trust business.
Michael joined TIAA-CREF in 1996. He served as head of Group Insurance Operations, where he negotiated the sale and led the transition of the Group Insurance lines of business to the Standard Insurance Company. Prior to that, Michael ran the Individual Life Insurance line of business and also oversaw Long-Term Care Insurance operations.
Prior to joining TIAA-CREF, Michael was a vice president with National Westminster Bank, and previously held management positions at several firms, including Raytheon Company.

Dale D. Keyser, is president and chief executive officer of the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB.
Dale has more than 22 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the Trust Company, he served as the market director for JPMorgan Private Client Services, in New York. In this capacity, he had full responsibility for the delivery of banking, fiduciary and investment management services to affluent individuals, families and business owners across the region. These responsibilities included the ongoing management of sales and service teams, including specialists in investments, financial planning, credit, alternative assets, deposit, philanthropic, and trust and estate planning services.
Prior to serving as market director, he headed JPMorgan Personal Asset Management, which provided trust and investment management services to clients in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Texas. Before that, he served as senior investment executive for the group, leading the portfolio management staff and activities for the business.
Dale has prior experience working in the Trust and Investment Departments of Farmers and Mechanics National Bank in Maryland and the Bank of Charles Town in West Virginia. He began his career at Chase in 1989, where he was manager of the Trust and Investment Department in Binghamton, New York.
In addition to his career accomplishments and prior to relocating to St. Louis in July, 2007, Dale was a member of the Estate Planning Council in Rochester. He was also active in the community, where he served on the board and was treasurer for the Center for Governmental Research. He is a past board member of Family Service of Rochester, Boys and Girls Club of Binghamton and the Center for Adolescent Services in Binghamton. He has also volunteered his time with United Way and numerous other civic and charitable organizations.
Dale earned his B.S. in Business Administration from West Virginia University. He is also a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA).
Murray C. Kinlaw III is a portfolio manager for the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB in Charlotte, NC. He is responsible for providing investment management services to high net worth clients and nonprofit organizations.

Prior to joining the Trust Company, Kay worked with Allegiant Bank from 1992 to 1998. As a vice president and chief financial officer, she was responsible for all financial aspects of the publicly traded bank holding company and its four subsidiaries. In addition, she was responsible for human resource services while the company had fewer than 100 employees. She performed due diligence on possible acquisitions and prepared applications filed with regulatory agencies. Other duties included asset/liability management, budgeting, registering the stock on NASDAQ, coordinating public stock offerings and SEC reporting.
Prior to joining Allegiant Bank, Kay worked at USBank Corp. in several capacities, including internal auditor, staff accountant and bank operations officer.

Prior to that, he was a Principal for a private investment counseling firm in Baltimore, MD. He has served clients in the financial services industry since 1985.
Prior to joining the Trust Company in 2007, Brett was a market investment executive and senior vice president for US Trust - Bank of America Private Wealth Management for more than 11 years. At US Trust, he managed a team of portfolio managers as well as having direct responsibility for the investment management of approximately 50 client relationships. His earlier employment included investment management positions at Mercantile Trust Company and Shearson Lehman Brothers.

Jason W. Self is a senior portfolio manager with the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB in Houston, TX. He is responsible for managing portfolios for high net worth clients and charitable organizations.
Prior to joining the Trust Company, Jason was a portfolio manager for Wells Fargo's Wealth Management Group at the Private Bank. He formally served as an analyst responsible for providing research on the semiconductor industry and has six years experience working directly in that industry. He also co-managed the Wells Managed Portfolio Group providing strategic and tactical asset allocation on over $2 billion in assets.
Jason earned his B.B.A. in Finance from Texas State University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is a member of the CFA Institute, and the Houston Society of Financial Analysts.
Eric C. Sheridan, CFA, is lead fixed-income manager for the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB in Charlotte, NC. He has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry and is responsible for developing and maintaining the Trust Company's fixed-income investment strategy and communicating it to the company's portfolio managers; developing taxable and tax-exempt fixed-income products; and serving as portfolio manager for high net worth clients' fixed-income holdings.
Prior to joining TIAA-CREF, Eric was with Wachovia Trust and Advisory Services as a lead portfolio manager and investment strategist. He also served as a lead portfolio manager for Evergreen Private Asset Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wachovia Corp. Previously, he managed the Taxable and Tax-Exempt Fixed Income portfolios at Eastover Capital Management while also serving in client service and marketing roles.
Eric has a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation by the CFA Institute in 1995, and he is a member of the CFA Institute and the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts.
Susan E. Tannehill is managing director and head of Wealth Management Investments and chief investment officer of TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB. Working in partnership with the Trust Company's leadership, she is responsible for establishing the company's investment philosophy for its entire range of products and also manages the delivery of customized products and services to the firm's high net worth clients. She also manages a team of regional portfolio managers who work directly with TIAA-CREF's most affluent clients.
Susan is a director of the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB. She serves as the chair for the Trust Company's Officers Investment Committee and is also a member of the Trust Company's Officers Personal Trust Committee and Officers Compliance Committee. Susan is a member of the steering committee for TIAA-CREF's Wealth Management Group and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team. She also serves as an advisor to Babies Heart Fund at New York Presbyterian Hospital and the Children's Hospital Heart philanthropies in Boston. She is a member of the Women Executives of Charlotte and is on the Executive Committee for the American Heart Association, Charlotte Heart Ball.
Susan has more than 30 years of portfolio management experience, specializing in global fixed-income and active currency management. Prior to joining TIAA-CREF in 2005, she worked as head of Investments at American Express Bank and as regional director at New England PNC Advisors.
Susan has an A.B. in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University. She holds NASD Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses.
Caroline Weis, CFP®, is a senior portfolio manager and team leader with the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB in San Francisco, CA. She is responsible for managing portfolios for high net worth clients and creating individualized retirement and financial planning strategies.
Prior to joining the Trust Company in April 2003, Caroline was a portfolio manager for Wells Fargo Private Client Services. She was also the lead analyst responsible for providing research on the semiconductor industry to 165 portfolio managers. Before that, Caroline served as vice president and portfolio manager at SunTrust Bank where she managed over $350 million for individual and institutional clients. She has more than ten years of investment experience.
Caroline earned her B.A. in History and her M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Tennessee. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. She is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of San Francisco, and the CFASF Continuing Education Committee. She has also been a grader of the CFA exam.
Steven L. Worrel, CFP®, is a portfolio manager with the TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB in Baltimore, MD. He is responsible for managing portfolios for high net worth clients.
Steven has more than eight years of financial services experience, five specifically in portfolio management. Prior to joining TIAA-CREF Trust Company, he spent two years at Mercantile Bank & Trust in Baltimore as an assistant vice president specializing in portfolio management for professional athletes and business owners. Before joining Mercantile, Steven spent six years at Legg Mason providing financial planning and investment advice to clients in the private client group.
Steven has a B.S. in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. Steven is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP) practitioner and Level II candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
