Laura T. Starks

Laura T. Starks, 60, has been Chairman of the Department of Finance, the Charles E. and Sarah M. Seay Regents Chair of Finance, and Director of the AIM Investment Center in the McCombs School of Business since 2002 at the University of Texas at Austin where she has taught since 1987. Dr. Starks is a member of the Governing Council of the Independent Directors Council and a former director of the USAA Mutual Funds. She has a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Starks has served as a CREF Trustee since 2006.
