How can I view my institution's profile? The Institution Profile, located to the right of the New Reports Available for Download table on the Home page provides a snapshot of your institution's basic information (address, phone number and Tax ID).How can I register as a user of the site? Complete the Online Authorization Application (PDF), which allows Planned Giving and Endowment Officers to become users of the secure Planned Giving and Endowment website. You can also use this application to add or delete users from your institution's list of authorized users.
Can I print the screen I am viewing? Yes. Use the Print link located on the upper right-hand side of each page.
When I print a screen, I do not see all the data. The page you are printing is wider than the page layout settings in your browser. To print what you are viewing on-screen, please change your browser's page layout orientation to landscape.
How do I ensure that my computer accepts cookies? To enable cookies, follow the instructions below for the browser version you are using: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+
- Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
- Click on the "Privacy" tab.
- Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium") under "Settings."
- Click "OK."
- Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
- Click on the "Security" tab.
- Click the "Custom Level" button.
- Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
- To enable:
- Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable."
- Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable."
- Click "OK."
- Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
- Click on the arrow next to "Privacy & Security" in the scrolling window to expand.
- Under "Privacy & Security", select "Cookies."
- Select "Enable all cookies."
- Click "OK".
I've heard that cookies may expose my personal information; why are they necessary to access my account? Cookies are used to establish and maintain a logged in connection while you are in the secure section(s) of our website.
TIAA-CREF strictly protects the personal information you provide against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, loss or misuse. Your personal information is protected by physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in accordance with federal and state standards. These safeguards include appropriate procedures for access and use of electronic data and provisions for the secure transmission of sensitive personal information on our website. We limit access to your personal information to those TIAA-CREF employees who need it to provide products or services to you.
Who has access to my information? Your TIAA-CREF Trust Administrator can view your email address and phone number(s).
No one can view the answers to your security questions. The answers to these questions are stored securely within a database and validated within the system.
Is any of the information I'm providing used for marketing purposes? We will never sell your personal information to third parties and your information will never be used for marketing purposes. You will not receive unwanted phone calls about your account.
Who can I contact if I have problems or questions? Please contact your TIAA-CREF Trust Administrator with any questions.
Ongoing Usage
Why must I answer a security question every time I log in? The security question and answer provides a secondary layer of authentication after we have verified your user ID and password. In the event of password theft, the security question and answer layer provides an additional measure to safeguard your account.
back to topCan I view or update my security information? Yes. To update this information, click on "Update Security Profile" and edit your information.
How can I access my Trust Company Accounts? You can access your Trust Company Accounts by clicking the Trust Company Accounts (available in the upper right-hand corner of every page. This will launch a new browser, after which you can follow the prompt to log in. You will need a Trust Company Account login ID and password for this online access.
Once you are logged into your Trust Company Account, please keep in mind that the secure TIAA-CREF Institutional Trust Planned Giving Web session will still be running in the main browser.
How can I change/update planned giving and endowment account data? Please contact your TIAA-CREF Trust Administrator.
Can I bookmark a page on the site? We strongly encourage you not to bookmark specific pages of the site, as you will not be able to target these directly upon entry. All users are taken to the Home page after login.
What formats are Reports provided in? Reports are provided as comma separated values (csv), Excel format (.xls), Word (.doc), and portable document format (PDF). You will need the appropriate program to open an application:
.doc: open with Microsoft Word
.xls and .csv: open with Microsoft Excel
.pdf: open with PDF reader (the free Adobe Reader can be downloaded here).
I've forgotten my security answers; how can I log in into my account? Please contact your TIAA-CREF Trust Administrator for support.
What information is available to me from the Home page? The Home page gives you access to reports that have been uploaded to your institution by the TIAA-CREF Trust Company service team.
What information is available to me from the Accounts page? The Accounts page gives you access to information for the accounts associated with your institution.
What information is available to me from the Gifts page? The Gifts page gives you access to a summary list of all gifts associated with your institution.
What information is available to me from the Parties page? The Parties page gives you access to information about the parties associated with specific gifts.
What information is available to me from the Payments page? The Payments page gives you access to detailed information about payments made to parties.
