SAS 70 Report
TIAA-CREF's auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), has released its SAS 70 report (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70), which provides the auditor's opinion of the design and operating effectiveness of our controls for the period January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006 for our Legacy platform. This year, TIAA-CREF will have two SAS 70 reports, one for our Legacy platform and a second report for our new Open Plan Solutions platform, which will cover the period from July 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006, and which is anticipated to be available at the end of June.
