When employees leave a TIAA-CREF participating institution, they need to decide what to do with their retirement accounts. There are a number of factors to consider, depending upon the type of retirement plan contract and the individual's personal choice. TIAA-CREF can help you track and maintain termination and vesting data. We will also help you and your employees handle account options upon termination. If you provide us with termination data we will keep this information on file. Should your former employee request a withdrawal, we do not need to contact you for this information thereby making the process more efficient.
