You can use the system to send a file.


Uploading a file is a quick and efficient way of sending data for a number of employees all at once. You get online confirmation as to the status of the file.

Whether you are sending a file to enroll employees (only available for group plans) or sending a file to enable employees to enroll themselves, the process is the same. The first step is to create the proper file layout. The main difference is that you will be setting the indicator in section 3 to either "1" for enroll or "2" for enable.

Once the file is in the proper layout and you have downloaded the real data and saved it, select "Go" in the "Upload" section will allow you to send the file.

Use the "Browse" button to search your computer for the appropriate file. Once you have highlighted the correct file, select "Upload."

The next screen allows you to verify information about the file that you are uploading. You can select "Process now" to have us begin processing right away, or select "View/approve data" to allow a final review before we begin processing.

Note: If this option is chosen, the Process Now window on the Enrollment Summary page is updated and you are prompted to confirm the enrollee(s)/eligibles data by clicking the Go button.

If a file rejected due to formatting you would be alerted here as well.

Selecting "Go" will indicate why the rejection occurred.
