Whether you are sending us your premium data by paper, tape or file over the Internet, Remittance EFT is a cost saving, secure, efficient way to send payments to TIAA-CREF. Some of the benefits of Remittance EFT are:


Once you're all setup and your banking information has been provided to TIAA-CREF through section 6 (EFT Authorization Form) of the Application for TIAA-CREF Institutional Administrator Services you can then begin using the system. After selecting "Send a Payment by EFT" the following page will appear. Enter an amount and select "authorize."

You will be asked to verify your entry and have a chance to modify the amount or authorize the payment.

After authorizing the payment you will presented with a confirmation screen. Be sure to print a copy for your records.


Note: Payments are effective the next business day if entered prior to 4:00pm EST. If entered after 4:00pm EST, the payment is effective two business days later.


If you want to change your institution's existing bank information you can contact the ATC. For example if you are maintaining the same bank but account information has changed you can call us with the details. If you are adding a new bank or changing banks altogether, you must submit a completed form. Please complete section 6 (EFT Authorization Form) of the Application for TIAA-CREF Institutional Administrator Services.
