Compliance

Access ERISA Information and Additional Guidelines, including reporting and instruction materials for completing Form 5500, information about spousal rights, nondiscrimination, summary plan reports, fiduciary responsibilities, 402(g) monitoring, important deadlines and more.

Registered Administrators have access to:

  • Form 5500 Materials: If any of your plans are subject to ERISA, the IRS requires that you report certain information each year. Our line-by-line instructions for completing Form 5500 guides you easily through the process of reporting employee-benefit compliance information to the Department of Labor and the IRS. If you have a qualified plan, you will also have access to the financial data you will need to complete your Form 5500 filing.
  • 401(m) Matching Test Software: Software to help ensure adherence to the Internal Revenue Code's Section 401(m), which requires that matching contributions and after-tax contributions not be disproportionately high for highly compensated employees.
  • Quarterly Activity Reports (QAR): Monitor plan level transaction activity based on your plan year. QARs will include a Participant Register, Participant Register Summary Totals, Participant with Non-Premium Transactions, Summary of Non-Premium Transactions, Summary of Premium Transactions and Participants with Premium Transactions.

How to Register

  1. Take a guided tour of secure access.
  2. Complete the Administrator Services Application (PDF). TIAA-CREF will send you your account information.
  3. Use the account information to create a User ID and Password.

Plan Auditor Access

To provide your plan auditors secure limited access to your Plan's financial reports on the TIAA-CREF Administrator Web Center, complete the TIAA-CREF Online Auditor/Access Authorization/Change Form (PDF).

You can use this application to add or delete online access for your auditors.
