Microsoft Internet Explorer

To find out what browser version you're using, select the "Help" menu from the menu bar at the top of your browser window. On the Help menu, select the "About" menu item that will give you further information about your browser. In general, the newer the version, the less trouble your Web browser should present. (Newer browsers have additional functionality and have corrected problems from earlier versions. In addition, some older releases may be incompatible with new features of the Web Center or other Web sites.) Occasionally, however, browser upgrades are released with bugs or glitches that haven't been fully ironed out. If you've downloaded a brand new browser and suddenly seem to be having difficulties with the Web Center or other sites, check the vendor's download site for advisories and/or "patches" (downloadable code fixes).

Please note also that some Web Center features require "plug ins" -- supplemental software programs that work in concert with your browser to provide additional functionality. These include:

Adobe Acrobat (for accessing and printing replica-quality applications and other business forms)

Macromedia's free Flash Player (for playing animated presentations)
