U.S. Market Trading Schedule: January 2, 2007

New York, December 29, 2006 --

In memory of former President Gerald R. Ford, who passed away on December 26, and in accordance with our country's national day of mourning, the U.S. exchanges will operate according to the following schedules:

January 2, 2007

  • NYSE closed.
  • NASDAQ closed.
  • The fixed income market will close at 2 p.m. (ET), which will not affect the closing for settlements. This also includes secondary trading in money-market securities.
  • Mutual funds will not be priced.

January 3, 2007

  • Normal trading hours for all markets will resume.
    Please note that transactions received after 4 p.m. (ET) on Friday, December 29, 2006 will be processed at the price in effect at the close of business on January 3, 2007 for Retirement Account or Investment Solutions IRA and retail class mutual funds. In addition, regular payments and transactions scheduled for January 2, 2007 (the first business day of 2007) will be posted on January 3, 2007.
