The College Retirement Equities Fund (CREF) held its annual meeting on July 18, 2006, at TIAA-CREF's headquarters in New York.
CREF participants elected eight trustees to serve one-year terms on CREF's Board and ratified the Board of Trustees' selection of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP to serve as CREF's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2006.
