Edward M. Hundert, 52, is senior lecturer in Medical Ethics at Harvard Medical School. From 2002 to 2006 he was President of Case Western Reserve University, where he was also a professor of biomedical ethics and a professor of cognitive science. From 2000 to 2002 he served as Dean of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is a board member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Dr. Hundert earned a B.S. from Yale University, an M.A. from Oxford University, and an M.D. and psychiatry residency training from Harvard Medical School.
