Donald K. Peterson, 60, was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Avaya Inc. from 2002 to 2006 and was its President and Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2001. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lucent Technologies from 1996 to 2000 and Chief Financial Officer of AT&T’s Communications Services Group from 1995 to 1996. He is a trustee of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Committee for Economic Development, and a director of the Sanford C. Bernstein Fund, Inc., a family of mutual funds, Emerj, Inc. and Knewco Inc. Mr. Peterson also serves on the Board of Overseers of Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business. He earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business Administration.
