David F. Swensen, 55, has been Chief Investment Officer for Yale University since 1985. He is also an adjunct professor of investment strategy at Yale’s School of Management and a lecturer in its Department of Economics. He is a board member of The Brookings Institution and the Hamden Hall Country Day School, a senior trustee of the Carnegie Institution, and a member of the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Mr. Swensen earned a B.S. and B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and a M.Phil., M.A. and Ph.D. from Yale University.
